SICOM3028GPT es una plataforma modular inteligente que ofrece una solución integral, integrando IEEE1588v2, Sync-E, Gigabit Ethernet completo y disponibilidad de capa 2 y capa 3. Está diseñada específicamente para operar de forma fiable en entornos industriales y de subestaciones eléctricas exigentes y con condiciones climáticas adversas. SICOM3028GPT admite hasta 28 puertos Gigabit de fibra/cobre y cumple con los estándares IEC61850 e IEEE1613. Este dispositivo de 19 pulgadas y 1U para montaje en rack admite una ranura de 1U y seis ranuras de 0,5U, lo que ofrece la máxima flexibilidad para una fácil expansión. SICOM3028GPT es compatible con IEEE1588v2 y el protocolo Ethernet síncrono con registro de tiempo por hardware, y admite los modos de reloj BC, P2P TC y E2E TC, alcanzando una precisión de temporización de 100 ns. Es compatible con los perfiles de potencia y telecomunicaciones, y admite numerosos módulos para la sincronización horaria, como HSR/PRP, TimeServer, GPS, IRIG-B y TMS-trigger, entre otros.
El SICOM3028GPT admite diversas funciones de software de capa 2, como puertos, VLAN, multidifusión, QoS y anillo redundante rápido, así como funciones de capa 3, como VRRP, RIP, OSFP, IGMP y PIM. Admite gestión mediante consola, Telnet, web y software de gestión de red basado en SNMP. Al ampliar el módulo de servidor serie, el producto puede proporcionar hasta 24 puertos serie RS232/422/485. Actualmente, se utiliza ampliamente en subestaciones inteligentes y otros sistemas de comunicación industrial.

Admite Ethernet síncrono ITU-T.G.8261/G.8262 con una precisión de sincronización de ±50 ns.
Admite módulos HSR/PRP, TimeServer, GPS, IRIG-B, TMS-trigger, servidor serie y LED.
Admite fuentes de alimentación intercambiables en caliente.
Admite gestión MMS según IEC 61850.
Admite pruebas de cable. Cumple con las normas IEC61850-3 e IEEE1613.
